They have a highly absorbent central pad that does not stick to the wound, while the adhesive surface of the pads is coated with a hypoallergenic adhesive so that it does not create discomfort during its removal, does not leave any residue and is suitable for sensitive skin.
Indicated for wounds of low to moderate exudation such as minor cuts, abrasions, hacks and puncture sites. They can also be used post-operatively to protect surgical wounds and incisions.
Step 1: Open the paper protector without touching the pad
Step 2: Hold the X-Med Medi Dress Hemostatic Adhesive Pad and stretch the paper backing tape to release the notch
Step 3: Remove the flap of the removable liner to reveal the adhesive surface
Step 4: Place the pad over the wound site and then remove the smaller flap of the removable liner. In the case of a film patch, slowly remove the paper backing tape on top, straightening and pressing the edges of the clear film at the same time
Contraindications: There are no absolute contraindications to the use of the product, however it should not be used in patients with known sensitivity to the product or any of its components.
