How to deal with vaginitis?
Vaginal disorders (sinusitis) are currently the most common health problem that women face. It is the most common reason that a woman visits her gynecologist. The term vaginitis means inflammation of the vagina.
Vaginitis usually occurs by the presence of itching and increased secretions from the vagina, which smell sometimes badly and are usually coloured. Inflammations (infections) of female genetical organs occur with increased frequency in summer and may occur in the pudenda (the outer area around the entrance of the vagina) Vaginal (vaginitis) and the cervix, the uterus and the fallopian tubes.
Caused by microorganisms such as fungi and trichomonas (which is more common), chlamydia, mycoplasma, etc., from microbes (aerobic and anaerobic) as well as viruses such as those that cause genital herpes virus (HSV) and genital warts virus (HPV). And of course we must not forget that some types of HPV implicated dysplasias (precancerous lesions) and cancer in the cervix and vulva.
Factors which contribute to vaginitis:
- Poor general state of the organism (lack of sleep, poor durability because unhealthy or poor diet, stress, smoking).
- Incorrect or incomplete local hygiene (douche, use tampons continuously).
- Numerous abortions.
- Use of deodorant spray in the sensitive region.
- Sexual intercourse without a condom.
- Pregnancy and menopause.
- Clothing habits (very tight pants or shorts).
Factors which can contribute to the development of fungal infections:
• Long-Term Use of broad spectrum antibiotics, which are the main cause of fungal growth. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to get antibiotics, be sure to use a parallel formulation that helps maintain the normal balance of the vagina.
• Use of contraceptive pills.
• Frequent use of cortisone.
• Diseases that affect the immune system and diabetes.
• Synthetic clothes or underwear.
• Visit and come in contact with contaminated places like toilets or swimming pools.
Especially now in the summer on the swim or pool to watch:
- After leaving the water, do not stay for too long with wet swimsuit.
- Moisture and heat create ideal environment for the growth of microbes and fungi after swimming in the pool or sea.
- And of course the beach and pool to lie your body always on the towel and avoid direct contact with the sand or the tiles of the pool.
Observe proper sanitary conditions in the sensitive region. Always remember that prevention is preferable to cure.
